TBF Dream Team Event Set For Detroit River, September 30

| September 26, 2012

Ponca City, Okla. (September 19, 2012) — The Bass Federation’s brand new Dream Team Rally tournament trail is excited to announce the TBF of Michigan is scheduled to host its first TBF Dream Team Rally event. The event is scheduled for September 30, 2012 on the lower Detroit River at Elizabeth Park in Trenton, Mich. The Michigan Dream Team Qualifier is open to ALL TBF members and non-TBF members wanting to join. Interested teams can go online to enter at bassfederation.com; Dream Team; tourney # is 1036. ALL interested TBF clubs and state federations can go online and register to host their own event today!

“The Bass Federation of Michigan is excited to host a TBF sanctioned Dream Team event, bringing grassroots fishing back to Michigan,” TBF of Michigan President, David Reault, said. “Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Each boat fishes as a team for the same prize, a coveted spot in the 2013 TBF Dream Team National Championship. The entry is $200 for TBF member teams, $300 for non-TBF member team. Over 15 Boats, 3 Teams can advance, with less than 15 only one team can advance, but we need a minimum of 10. With 15 Boats it pays $500-$400 and $200 as well, with $100 big bass and $50 Second big bass. The waters are off limits Monday thru Friday before the tournament with practice on Saturday. You can register on the website, or through Matt or myself (see below).”

“Think about it, if there are only 30 teams nationwide invited to the 2013 TBF Dream Team National Championship Rally, those 30 teams not only get to attend a dream “vacation” event but also get to compete for a new Ranger boat plus a national pile of cash and other prizes!” TBF President, Robert Cartlidge, said. “A minimum of 70% is paid back to the local event and 30% goes to the championship. The odds don’t get much better than that! The more Dream Team events held the bigger the championship payout.”

TBF Dream Team Rallies are designed to fill a void not only in the federation but also the fishing industry. Fish no-hassle events close to home; fish with who you want, when you want, where you want. All Dream Team Rally event payouts and advancements are based on number of boats. Roughly 20% of entries will be paid onsite, plus two big fish awards. It only takes 10 teams minimum to host a Dream Team event. The more teams entered, the more teams advance.

Every first place team (based on # of boats possibly 1st-5th) is invited to attend the TBF Dream Team National Championship. Every first place team (based on # of boats, possibly 1st-3rd) will receive a “qualifying team” travel award stipend upon arrival at the championship to help offset the cost of mileage, lodging and boat gas. The national champion team will go home with a Ranger Boat dream rig!

Register to host an event anytime, anywhere in the US or Canada, sign up to compete or do both! There’s no limit on how many you can host or fish; so get started now! This is a Great Opportunity! The location of the dream tournament championship hasn’t been set so it won’t be loaded with a bunch of ringers. It will be a fun tournament with a great chance to win a fully rigged Ranger.
