2012 Jr State Championship Titles for Sprague and Davis
2012 TBF of Michigan 15 to 18 years old division Jr state champion Danny Sprague caught 5-bass limit from Pontiac Lake weighing 10.35 pounds
Congratulation to our two winners Danny Sprague who won our older age group (15-18) with 5 bass that weighed 10.35 lbs. and Matt Davis of our younger group (11-15) with 5 bass weighing 9.82 lbs. TBF of Michigan Jr. State Championship was held June 9, 2012 on Pontiac Lake. Both of them are on their way to the National Guard Junior National Championship on Lake Lanier in Georgia. Good luck to the both of them.
Our Big bass winners were Nick Marsh with a 3.35 lbs. largemouth and Joey May with a 3.04 lbs. largemouth. Nice job to them.
Another great Youth State Championship. We had great weather and some real good fishing. First of all I want to thank all the boaters for coming out and helping us with this event. Without them we could have never done what we did. Thanks to our emcee Kim Stricker for taking time out of his busy schedule to do this for the kids, running a smooth and entertaining weigh in from the Pontiac State Recreation Area public access site.
I want to thank a few persons who have always been there to help me out for this event. Dennis Beltz, Craig Boe and Chris Standhardt. Thanks a lot for your dedicated help.
I want to thank all the parents for getting the kids involved in our sport. They are the next generation.
